What’s Planned for the Future

At the moment we’re planning programmes of films on a monthly basis. March and April are now listed on the Screenings page. These are our standard Friday programmes, aimed at 9-12 year olds and 12 to 18s. We are working on some ideas for special themed showings, for example, a Bollywood Night, All-time Classics. We have already arranged a Chinese New Year feature and also a screening of The King’s Speech for the Toastmasters event. See Screenings for details. There’s more in the pipline, but we’ll tell you about that later!

If there are films you’d really like to see or you have ideas for a special theme, let us know. Use the Suggest a Film form to tell us. You can find it under the Contacts link in the top menu and on the right hand side of this page.

We’ve also published a list of the dates of all our Friday evening screenings in 2012.

We’ll put information about forthcoming films list here as soon as we have it. We’ll also highlight other events in the Town Hall which are of interest, especially those using the projection facility.

The films we list here may not be scheduled yet, but we’d like to give you some idea of what’s to come in the months ahead. Look at the Screenings page for dates and times of films in our current programme.

What OTHER films will we watch?

Don’t forget, while we’ve had a few ideas from you on which films you’d like us to show, we’re still interested to hear your suggestions (or requests) for films to show at our regular Friday screenings as well as for film seasons or themed screenings we could organise in the future. We run polls when we have several films for you to choose from but you can suggest a film any time you like, using our form on the Suggest a Film page.

Keep on watching this space.
